We have been profoundly blessed with several teachers who have taught us how to make pet portraits, ocean scenes, and landscapes. I suspect, for many of us, it is like the old “Draw Timmy Turtle,” where you get something that approaches Timmy and then they say, “Just add shading.” (The rest is left as an exercise for the student?). That is the hard part! Nancy is going to give us the tools so that we can take our cats, dogs, landscapes, seascapes, etc. and give them the thread painting they deserve. If it is like my Trixie and it is what she deserves, I suspect PETA will show up. ;) Thread and hoop required, not included. There is homework ahead of the workshop.
