Tour of the new Virginia Quilt Museum: Kate Reid, Curator, will pull quilts from the permanent collection for us to touch, discuss, and savor as part of the our tour of the new facility in Dayton, VA.

Tour Start Time: 1 pm

Our group tour is scheduled for 1 pm, giving you  time to arrive with your carpool after lunch or after visiting one of the excellent quilt stores on the way.

Cost: Free for Arlington QU Members!*  

There is no charge for this event, but you must register and enter at our designated tour time of 1 pm.  You may drive on your own, or come with a carpool of your friends.  Be sure to plan time to visit one of the quilt shops in the area, have lunch, or maybe a leisurely ride home to view the fall foliage.  

* Note if you are not an ARL QU Member yet, you can join as an Associate member at any time for $15

Size of Tour: There is  a limit of 15 people per tour, and we can add a 2nd tour if needed.

Accessible To All: The entrance is by a ramp to the second floor where the education classroom is and that's where we will have our hands on experience. 

Waitlist?: Yes.  We will maintain a waitlist and if there is sufficient interest, we will try to schedule a second tour, possibly at 2 pm.

This allows Joan to finalize the tour #s  on Thursday.

How to Carpool?: Registered names will be listed internally to Arlington QU members only, so you can reach out to other registrants to arrange sharing a ride if you want.
