During this Sit N Sew, Joan Mayer will teach us how to make a Mondo Bag (or the 2 smaller versions -- Midi Bag or Bitty Bag)

Mondo Bag - 10 inch square base and 15 inch high body

Midi Bag - 8 inch square base with 12 inch high body

Bitty Bag - 5.5 square inch base with 9 inch high body

Pattern Directions: Participants will need the Quiltsmart Mondo or Midi bag pattern and the printed interfacing for the bag size of their choice.

If you want to make a 2nd bag, no need to buy the pattern again, you'll just need more materials and Printed/Gridded Fusible Interfacing, which can be purchased separately.

Timing: You will likely not finish in 4 hours, but will make progress on your grid sewing and will understand how to construct the bag.

Supplies:

• Either 2.5" or 5" squares for the exterior of the bag (you can cut them in advance, or use a brightly colored jelly roll or charm pack)
• Interior lining and handle fabric material
• Fusible fleece (optional, used to add structure to the bag)
• Printed/Gridded Fusible Interfacing (comes with the pattern) 

Tools: Sewing machine, rotary cutter, ruler, cutting mat,  scissors, marking pen, pins, or clips, and ideally a Goddess or Applique Pressing Sheet
