In-Person Workshop:  Let's Try Kwandi Compositions!   

This method springs from Indian and African cultures, where the weather is warm and coverings do not need batting as we think of it.  These pieces are layers of lightweight cotton, hand stitched with a running thread.   You can make unique designs! Think: fabric mosaic of scraps, stitched as you go.  It is most fun done "in community" with a shared pile of scraps. We will make a practice, decorative quilt that can be finished (mostly?) in an afternoon.
