Have you ever wondered where artists get their inspiration for their glorious works of art? Perhaps from a photograph, a trip or maybe from an object seen in a different light or from a different perspective? What about quilt artists and their original quilts? Where do they get their color palettes and inspiration?
Come hear Jan Krentz speak on just this topic, “Design Inspiration from Everyday Life”. Jan will share her tips on color, fabric selection and design plus her inspiration. As an added treat, she will also feature a trunk show of her glorious quilts.
Jan will be the feature keynote speaker and teacher at this year’s 40th Anniversary Quilt Show. She will be offering this FREE lecture and accompanying trunk show to all QU members on Saturday evening, June 1st, 7pm in the Ballroom of the Holiday Inn across the parking lot from the Dulles Expo Center. What could be more convenient for Quilt Show attendees and class participants? Dessert and coffee will be served.
Please mark your calendars and plan on attending what will certainly be a most inspiring talk and trunk show. See you at 7pm in the Ballroom!
