This bee usually includes a short demonstration of a tool or technique. It's a great opportunity to get to meet and chat with many of our members. Bring a covered drink and some hand work or just come for conversation.

We meet the 2nd Wednesday of every month at The Quilter's Studio in Fairfax.

For our September meeting, we want to have time to catch up after the summer. We'll have a business meeting and hear about the upcoming year with lots of time to visit.

All are welcome to join us. We have a lot of fun together celebrating the art of quilt making. There are a many ways you can get involved.

AnQU Fabric Sale (October 10, 2026)

Annandale QU is having a fabric sale October 10 thanks to the generous donation of a long time member. Fabric will be $7 per pound (approximately 3 yards). We'll also have a boutique with items made by Annandale members.

Easy parking behind the church.

Our October meeting will include a program called "Organizing Your Sewing Room" with Maria Spetalnik.

Afterward, she'll present a workshop to make a scrap quilt called "Order and Chaos". See the calendar event to register for the workshop.

This meeting lasts about two hours with an approximately 30-minute business meeting, show and tell, refreshment break, and a 60-minute program.

All are welcome to join us. We have a lot of fun together celebrating the art of quilt making. There are many ways you can get involved.

Our December meeting is our holiday social. We'll chat, play a game or two and share lunch. More details will come closer to the date.

During winter months, we follow Fairfax County Public School policy. If schools are closed, we are cancelled. If schools have a delayed opening, we still meet.
